iShares Silver Trust (SLV) ETFs follow the performance of the spot price of silver net of expenses and liabilities using silver bars held in England. The Silver Trust allows direct exposure to silver by storing it in safes in London. Investors obtain the movement of the silver price (determined by the London Silver Fix) net of fund charges.
The iShares Silver Trust ETF may have a defect and an advantage. The defect is that it charges 20 bps more than the other fund on the silver segment (SIVR). On the positive side, it is more liquid. In fact, the SLV is one of the most liquid funds on the market, which makes trading easier.
To trade using iShares Silver ETFs online, you can use the Plus500 platform, which allows you to place purchase orders and overdrafts, to bet on the rise or fall of the stock.
